When something goes wrong with your home — a storm, a fire, a pipe that lets go at two in the morning — your insurance company sends someone to decide what your loss is worth. That person works for them. I'm Joshua Friedman. I'm a licensed public adjuster. And I have spent my entire career on your side of the table. We document the loss the way the carrier's own playbook demands: photographed, measured, and proven. Then we put them on notice, and negotiate from evidence. Fire and smoke. Water. Wind and hail. Commercial losses. If your case is worth fighting, we take command of it — and you watch every document and every dollar move, live, in your own portal. If we don't recover more for you, you owe us nothing. Friedman and Associates. You're represented now.

Run a roofing or restoration company? Hand us the claim side of your entire book. Your customers get licensed adjusters, your jobs close at documented scope, and your team watches every claim live in WhiteGlove — free.

The contractor bridge
Joshua Friedman, founder and lead public adjuster Joshua Friedman testifying before the Georgia House of Representatives

Some people find this work. He was built for it.

Joshua's mind runs on pattern. Where most people see a damaged roof, he sees the sequence that produced it, and the clause in the policy that pays for it. Catching the detail everyone else walks past is not a technique he learned. It is how he has always been wired, and it happens to be the entire job.

He has never worked for an insurance company. He studied them instead, earning the carriers' own adjuster credential for one reason: to learn from the inside exactly how a lowball number gets built, and exactly how it comes apart.

"I earned the same license the insurance companies issue their own adjusters. Not to work for them; I never have. I know exactly how they decide what to pay you, and exactly how to take that number apart." Joshua Friedman · Licensed Public Adjuster since 2014 · HAAG certified · GA #2963367
Joshua and Hannah Friedman together
The partners, married to each other and to the fight

It started at the base of a rock wall.

Years before the firm, a summer-camp counselor named Joshua ran the climbing wall, and a camper named Hannah wanted to quit halfway up. He wouldn't let her. She reached the top, went home, and years later married him anyway. They run the firm the way that day went. He refuses to let a family give up on what they are owed. She is the partner and co-founder who makes certain no one fighting a carrier ever feels like a case number.

When you hire the firm, you get the partners. Both of them. Not a call center, not a case queue. A married team with one standard and your name on the file.

Family-run and Canton-based. The partners answer directly. He fights the carrier. She makes sure you never feel the fight.

Sworn testimony · United States Senate · May 13, 2025

“Our customer’s worst day needs to be our best.”

Allstate’s motto — read back to its chief claims officer by a U.S. Senator.

Then the Senator told him what he thought it ought to say instead. Minutes earlier, an adjuster had testified under oath that he was ordered to lower an estimate he had already written.

Two carriers were called that day. A State Farm policyholder testified that his family’s house was ruled habitable — with four trees through the roof and the sky visible from his two-year-old’s bedroom.

We host the video and the complete transcript — including both companies’ answers, in full.

While you wait: three things never to say to your carrier
  1. "It's probably been like that a while." Guessing at timelines hands them "wear and tear," the most common denial in Georgia. State only what you know.
  2. "We're fine, it's not that bad." Politeness gets priced in. The full damage isn't known until it's professionally documented, so never minimize on a recorded line.
  3. "Sure, I'll give a recorded statement now." You can decline politely until you've spoken with your representative. One innocent guess can follow your claim forever.
